#hotjobalert: If you're interested in joining a company building something truly impactful in the education space, my dear friends at Ello are hiring for three roles right now. AI/ML Engineer (San Francisco): Build the systems that decide what to teach next, when to intervene, and how to adapt to each child in real time. https://lnkd.in/g72NvfCG Head of Design (San Francisco): Lead Ello’s creative vision across product and marketing. Shape how our AI teacher looks, feels, and behaves, and help build a design culture that can match the ambition of our mission. https://lnkd.in/gHxCdwTN Product Manager (Nairobi): Create the foundation for a world-class product organization in Kenya. Turn insights from kids and families into product features that make children laugh and learn. https://lnkd.in/gadx3Tv8 Tom S. Catalin Moreno Voss

I had a great time at last month's NewSchools Summit connecting the dots between Ed & Tech concepts - (remember that the "Ed" comes first). The conference's theme was "Build What's Next" and I came away #inspired not by just WHAT people are building at the frontier of K12 but also WHO is building. This isn't just about software - the conference really targeted new models and new modes of learning. The best part: I met students from across the country who aren't waiting to get to college or career to build - they are building their own future now in collaboration with a community of caring educators & role-models. Hope you enjoy my talk - comment in if you have any feedback!! Thank you to Frances Messano and everyone involved with the event! Edtech Insiders

Yes! We need more national service opportunities for young people to build skills, foster connection, and deliver impact. It’s time to double down on programs like Teach For America and AmeriCorps while launching new ones like Claude Corps. It is Works Progress Administration v2.0 and it is sorely needed!!
