Throwback to an incredible week of AI collaboration in Singapore! 🇸🇬 Last week was packed with meaningful meetings to discuss AI use cases and showcase Cohere's capabilities with clients and partners, alongside our fly-in architects Lennert Rienau and Ryan Chase. Special appreciation to GovTech Singapore for co-hosting a full-day technical workshop at Lorong AI - it was fantastic to share our sovereign enterprise AI models and agentic AI platform, North, with government officials. We had productive discussions ideating specific AI use cases within ministries and those applicable to Whole of Government (WOG) initiatives. As a proud Singaporean working in AI, I'm particularly excited about Singapore's vision for Lorong AI (for non-Singaporeans - 'lorong' means street or alley in Malay) and the expansion to become Kampong AI ('kampong' means village) at LaunchPad @ One-North by 2028. This will serve as a specialized, integrated hub for AI startups, researchers, and talent. A few months ago, while exploring the global AI ecosystem, Cohere stood out immediately. Its crisp, compelling vision for Enterprise AI and strong differentiation around secure, sovereign AI truly caught my attention. At that time, Cohere didn’t yet have a presence in Singapore—but as it often happens, a series of serendipitous conversations and encounters led me here.
