Last night I had the honor of receiving the #somosValientas award as a leading woman in the world of Business. It is an award granted by DN Management - Diario de Navarra and LABORAL Kutxa . Many thanks to these two great companies. It is the first time that I have received a recognition like this in my homeland and it was a very emotional evening. It is different to share your reflections in front of brilliant strangers than in front of your most intimate people, family and friends who have seen you grow up. I give the award to my mother, who from a young age pushed me to be brave, independent and master of my own destiny. The award belongs to both of us, mom!

Few weeks ago I published that Red Points owns the largest Brand Protection database in the world. We monitor 90 Million links everyday day… For us this might not be important, but in this case, size matters. It matters because we can build better technology for our customers, AI models that have a true impact in the quality, speed and productivity of our solution for our customers. Our models are being trained with the largest database in the world, created over 9 years... and growing.   Stay tuned

According to ChatGP, whom I consulted, as any good 5.0 CEO would, about the meaning of this concept, a CEO 5.0 is an emerging idea that describes the business leader prepared for the new phase of the digital economy, characterized by the deep integration of artificial intelligence, automation, sustainability, humanism, and purpose. It’s not just a “technology-driven CEO,” but a leader who combines strategic vision, advanced technological understanding, and a strong human orientation. The most important part of the definition is “the strong human orientation.” That is where the secret sauce of the CEO 5.0 truly lies. We are living in an extraordinary moment; we have entered a new era. Artificial Intelligence is advancing, although not as quickly as some predicted three years ago. In my opinion, one of the biggest mistakes is precisely calling “intelligence” something artificial intelligence does not do: it doesn’t think, it doesn’t feel, it doesn’t create, it doesn’t empathize. It simply consumes data and outputs data based on a set of algorithms. And we are beginning to acknowledge that we are still very far from the creation of superintelligence. What is undeniable is that technological adoption across all spheres and segments is accelerating, and business models are changing faster than ever. But paradoxically, the more digital the world becomes, the more human leadership must be. Technology can scale processes, but only people can scale purpose. The leaders who will truly make a difference will be those capable of combining technological vision with a deep human orientation. Leadership 5.0 is not just about running companies: it is about inspiring human beings to create what machines alone will never be able to imagine. One of my bosses many years ago, a visionary CEO, once told me: “To lead is to inspire people to achieve what they initially believe they are incapable of doing.” This statement has accompanied me for years, and it is more relevant than ever, because the more the world becomes automated, the more valuable the un-automatable becomes. Empathy, trust, purpose, culture and the ability to connect with others are today the true differentiators of a leader. This is the kind of leadership that transforms and endures. Let us not forget: technology multiplies, but the human soul leads.

(Below in Spanish) We are used to seeing posts from CEOs welcoming or saying goodbye to members of the executive team. Today is not one of those cases. Today, I want to give the farewell that is truly deserved to Mireia Manso Matachana, our Office Manager for the past three years. And it is no exaggeration to say that her impact has been enormous — not only within the Red Points team, but also with clients, suppliers, and, more broadly, with all the stakeholders of our company. During this time, Mireia has been the first point of contact with the outside world, the first impression of Red Points. And honestly, I cannot imagine a better image for our company than the one she has represented: professionalism, warmth, commitment, and a constant smile. I often say that our culture and values are strong, visible, and long-lasting — and, most importantly, shared. Mireia is the purest embodiment of those values. But more than that, she has been one of the people who has contributed the most to spreading them, both internally and externally. Today she leaves us to embark on a new professional adventure that, unfortunately, we were not able to offer her. While we are sad to see her go, we are genuinely happy to see her take on new challenges. Fly high, dear Mireia. You leave us a little sad, but deeply grateful and proud of everything you have contributed. You will always be remembered — your impact at Red Points will last for a long time.

Last week we celebrated the Red Points Annual Conference in Barcelona, where we hosted the top leading e-commerce platforms of the world. We have always highlighted our high degree of technological innovation, but we must add to this the close collaboration we maintain both with our clients and with all the big Marketplaces and Social Media platforms. With all of them, we shared our latest highlights, when no one was doing AI in our space, we were already producing it for the benefit of our clients and now that generative AI has arrived, we have incorporated it into our platform to improve the feature that our customers appreciate the most: SPEED. We can share now with everybody that we are the fastest and most effective solution in our market. Welcome to the future! Red Points

Yesterday, I was invited to attend a meeting with the President of Spain and the Ministers of both Defense and Digital Transformation to discuss cybersecurity matters. I had the honor of sharing my views alongside a few of other industry leaders. Companies and Governments dealing with cyber attacks and fraud are facing a new order of magnitude. More than ever, a massive investment is needed, especially in the AI era. As we always say, AI against AI to bring uncapped scalability and laser precision.

Every September, my thoughts go back to that September of 2014, to those days when I took my very first steps at Red Points. I remember it with both nostalgia and amazement. We have changed so much! Back then, we were just a tiny company; today we are recognized leaders in our market. We were only ten people; today we are hundreds. We had just a handful of clients; today more than 1,300 brands trust us, many of them among the largest in the world. Year after year, we consistently gain market share. We were only beginning to design our solution; today it is the most highly valued in the market—not just by our clients. And we have not only innovated in product, but also in go-to-market, processes, and operations. Every part of this company breathes innovation. Yet there is one thing that has remained unchanged over these eleven years: OUR SOUL. The soul of the company, from which everything else flows. Creativity is inherent to the soul. I deeply believe that every company has a soul—a distinctive way of being, of acting, of relating to all its stakeholders. And this soul cannot be copied. Everything else can be replicated: the product, the marketing, the design—but not the soul. Clients recognize it, seek it, and want it. But it cannot be imitated, because imitation is always obvious, and it can never compete with what is genuine. It is precisely from this soul that creativity flows. That is why copies always fall short. Copying products, processes, marketing, or ideas will never yield the same results. The great companies of the world understand this truth. At Red Points, we understood this very early on. That is why we have dedicated all our efforts to protecting our clients against the scourge of counterfeits—and also why we have fiercely protected our own soul, keeping it intact as the years have passed. We are obsessed with preserving our essence, our unique way of doing things. It is this perfect combination of innovation, evolution, and preservation of the soul that has led us to success. Even today, I still talk with clients who started with us ten years ago, and I also meet with some of the largest global companies, who recognize and value that very mix that has carried us to excellence. And it is not only with clients. The same happens within our team—our RedPointers. Many have been part of this incredible journey for years, growing and maturing within our company, becoming outstanding leaders who pass on our way of understanding the business to new talent. Others joined later, but have fully embraced our soul and driven creativity and innovation to new heights. To all of them, from the bottom of my heart: thank you. If you are reading this and you are leading a small company, nurture the soul of your business to its fullest potential, and your creativity will know no limits. Let us not forget: the market values what is genuine—it seeks it, it recognizes it, and it does not want copies.

There is currently a question circulating in the minds of many, something along the lines of TO BE OR NOT TO BE. The question is: IS SAAS DEAD OR IS IT JUST MUTATING?? We discussed this today at 4YFN with Sergio Pérez Merino, Luis Garay and Antonio Berga... My short answer is: Only companies that fail to adapt are dead. First of all, you cannot talk about SaaS in generic terms as if it were a homogeneous group. Software companies target very different verticals — Fintech, Legaltech, Edtech, etc. Honestly, I believe that the more niche your software is, the more relevant expertise and relationships with the different players in that segment become. On the other hand, buyer personas are decisive. The further your buyer persona is from the tech team, the more relevant the software you offer becomes. Companies need to focus on fulfilling their mission, and I don’t believe that non-technical teams within those companies will start building their own software — especially software that must also be maintained and continuously developed. Those SaaS companies whose buyer persona consists of tech teams are probably the ones that may face more difficulties. In summary, I believe SaaS companies will continue to evolve as long as they have: - Brand Moat - Expertise Moat - Distribution Moat - "The hard 20%": Vibe coding gets you 80% of a product quickly, but the remaining 20% — critical edge cases around security, data control, access permissions — takes years to build and protects against new entrants. - Continuous movement to introduce AI into every part of the product and into the processes of all teams as a competitive advantage. The good companies will adapt and thy will be the winners, while the bad ones will fall by the wayside.

The Gratitude Post 💟 When a year begins, we always pass along the same wish to our family members, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues: “may the new year bring you everything you desire.” Perhaps we should start saying instead, “may the new year bring you all the challenges you can overcome in order to learn.” Because let’s not fool ourselves—life is about that, and only that: continuous learning. Life constantly brings you challenges so that you can learn. Basically, we come into this world to learn. To live is to learn; as Viktor Frankl said, that is the meaning of life: to live it. And I want to give thanks for all the learnings that life has brought to Red Points. Thanks to the challenges we have overcome throughout all the previous years, we have reached a year—2025—that we will always remember in our corporate history. The year in which we have been able to serve the most satisfied customers in the market, as they themselves have told us through surveys conducted by third parties. The year in which those same surveys have told us that our technology is the most innovative and our service is the most comprehensive. And of course, as could not be otherwise, our metrics—financial, economic, and commercial—continue an unstoppable upward trajectory. Just like our customers’ satisfaction. We are able to serve the largest companies in the world in every sense: both the largest in size and those that are the greatest in terms of how highly their customers value them, even if they are not so large in size. That is why I want to thank life for the challenges it brings us, our customers for their ongoing trust, and my team—all the Redpointers—for turning every challenge that technological evolution and the market place before us into constant learning and unstoppable innovation. THANKS 2025!!! 🚀 🚀

The three capabilities AI will never take from you (and how to use them to become irreplaceable). We've all seen the headlines: "AI will replace 40% of jobs," "ChatGPT does in seconds what used to take hours," "Your profession is at risk." And yes, AI is extraordinary at generating content, analyzing data, and automating processes. But something gets lost in all this fear narrative. I've spent months observing how the most valuable professionals aren't those competing with AI, but those developing capabilities AI will never replicate: 1. The ability to ask the right questions AI gives you brilliant answers... to the questions you ask it. But who defines what the right question is? Who challenges the assumptions? Who sees the problem no one else is seeing? The future doesn't belong to whoever uses tools best, but to whoever knows best what to ask. Strategic curiosity, critical thinking, the ability to reframe problems... that can't be automated. 2. The ability to create genuine relationships Business is still, fundamentally, about people. Trust isn't generated with prompts. Deep collaboration doesn't emerge from an algorithm. The relationships you build, the uncomfortable conversations you hold, your ability to connect dots between people... that's pure human capital. And it's increasingly scarce and valuable. AI can draft the perfect email. But it can't have coffee with you and understand what's really bothering you. 3. Empathy Here's the real differentiator. AI can simulate empathy, generate "empathetic" responses, but it can't feel. It can't understand the emotional context of a team in crisis. It can't read body language in a delicate negotiation. It can't sense when someone needs support even though they say they're fine. Genuine empathy, emotional intelligence, the ability to lead from humanity... that remains exclusively ours. Here's the secret few are seeing: Those who truly understand this won't compete with AI or fear it. They'll use AI to amplify these human capabilities and become "super-professionals." They'll use AI to eliminate all technical and repetitive work, freeing up time to ask the deep questions that generate real value. To dedicate more energy to building meaningful relationships. To be more emotionally present with their teams and clients. The more AI advances, the more valuable these profoundly human capabilities become. In a world where anyone can generate sophisticated analysis or an impeccable document, what differentiates you is your humanity amplified by technology. Multiplied by AI's execution capability. The question isn't "will AI replace me?", but "am I developing the capabilities that make me irreplaceable while using AI to become unstoppable?" Those who understand this first will have a brutal competitive advantage. #ProfessionalDevelopment #Leadership #FutureOfWork #AI Red Points

Last week, I had the honor of supporting the launch of the book “AI in Business” by Jorge Calvo, PhD and Carlos Escapa. Two outstanding experts in AI with whom I had the opportunity to share my reflections. We all agreed that #AI cannot be applied indiscriminately to every product, service, or process. I shared why at Red Points, accuracy, transparency, and traceability in decision-making are critical. That’s why we don’t talk about replacing people — we talk about augmenting their capabilities, about creating “superhumans” who have more accessible information and more elements to enrich their decision-making process in a record time.

(In Spanish below) The Star Wars saga is about a single theme: control of the Force — “May the Force be with you.” The Force, energy that is everywhere, is what builds the world, Life itself. And it can be used to do good (Obi-Wan Kenobi) or to do evil (Darth Vader). The energy we put into the world every day can be of high vibrations (love, trust, joy, empathy, creativity) or low vibrations (hate, fear, anger). Today’s politicians constantly drag us into low vibration. For me, that’s over. I don’t want to contribute to this destruction. Darth Vader was a child of high vibrations captured by fear and hate. I’m choosing Obi-Wan Kenobi’s side. Let’s emit high-vibration energy and put an end to so much fear and hate.

AI vs AI: The new battle for brand protection The exponential development of artificial intelligence is transforming the digital fraud landscape at an unprecedented pace: - Multi-step fraud attacks rose by 180% year-on-year in 2025 (World Economic Forum). - 40% of companies reported being targeted by fraud in 2025 (World Economic Forum). - Blocked scam content jumped 50% in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024 - Over a third (35%) of UK businesses were targeted by AI-related fraud in Q1 2025, compared to just 23% the previous year (Experian). Sophistication is no longer a barrier. Fake websites, fraudulent ads that replicate your visual identity, counterfeit products with AI-generated copy... what once required specialized teams is now executed by anyone with access to generative tools. But here's the paradox: the solution also comes from AI. 87% of global financial institutions have already deployed AI-driven fraud detection systems in 2025, achieving accuracy rates of 92-98%, compared to 24.5% for human reviewers identifying high-quality deepfakes. The uncomfortable reality: only tech-led providers using AI intensively can win this battle. Traditional brand protection methods are obsolete. The speed, scale, and sophistication of AI-powered fraud demands providers where AI isn't just a tool—it's the core of their DNA: ✓ Machine learning algorithms that evolve in real-time ✓ Processing millions of signals simultaneously ✓ Predictive detection before damage escalates ✓ Automated response at the speed of modern fraud A robust Brand Protection strategy can no longer rely on human teams manually reviewing threats. We need AI to fight AI. The question is no longer IF your brand will be attacked, but WHEN. And when it happens, will you have the right tools to respond? Brand protection is no longer a "nice to have." It's critical infrastructure. And only a technologically advanced partner who master AI at an intensive level can offer you the defense you need. #BrandProtection #ArtificialIntelligence #Cybersecurity #DigitalFraud #AI Red Points

Historic ruling against #OpenAI in Germany. The internet is not a self-service store, and human creative achievements are not free templates. Well said by GEMA CEO.

Last week we had a great conversation with Vala Afshar and R "Ray" Wang on DisrupTV about how AI can help fight digital fakes. We were the pioneers in our space, innovating from day 1. These are some examples of how we’ve been leveraging AI for years at Red Points : - Computer vision to detect counterfeit products inside images. - LLMs to retrieve missing data and automate takedown processes. -Copilot assistant to predict and recommend actions with ML. These are just a few examples. But AI alone isn't valuable; it's the extensive data behind it. We train our models with 2.7bn data points every month, ensuring we stay ahead of evolving threats. We were the pioneers and we will always be in the cutting edge of tech and AI!

In the midst of the #AI hype, there’s one crucial thing many are overlooking. As a company that has consistently leveraged the latest AI capabilities for the past 11 years, at Red Points we are early and strong advocates of its unparalleled potential. But the #AI stack is vast: relying on a single technological tool, no matter how powerful, can lead to suboptimal outcomes –or, worse, errors. This holds true across all sectors, but it is paramount in industries where execution must be traceable, transparent, and reliable, like our industry. When we fight against online fraud, we always make sure to use the right technology for the right task, orchestrated by the right operator. That’s when AI becomes truly unstoppable. https://lnkd.in/dqXn7v5V

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I´d like to share with you some of the reflections I recently shared with my team. 2024 has definitely been a year where a new portal has opened. The portal to a new reality, to an unprecedented way of understanding the industry and services, with all that this entails for society. New technologies, with AI leading the charge, have subtly shown the disruption they will bring on a global scale. Right now, we can only sense the change coming our way, but by the end of 2025, we’ll certainly feel its impact across all areas of our lives. AI will infiltrate all industries in a cross-cutting way, causing permanent and irreversible changes. It’s a tough time for the nostalgic and the inflexible. Those who cannot flow with change will suffer. Unfortunately, fraud and scams are major beneficiaries in this emerging economy, as in the early stages of any era, chaos generators tend to roam freely. That’s why our industry, and everything we stand for, is at a tipping point. New clients and companies from emerging sectors seeking solutions will look to us, so we have a unique opportunity to show them, and the entire market, that we are the answer. That we know what we’re doing and that we are capable of adapting and improving our technology and services for the new world that is accessed through the portal opened in 2024. Let’s consolidate all our strengths, leverage our advantages, and complement this with all the innovation to continue advancing relentlessly. New times, new ways. Doing the same old things no longer works. For an amazing and really NEW 2025!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to sit with amazing business leaders of really big public corporations and I was told something that deeply resonated with me: Competing on price is a very bad strategy. When your only claim to attract customers is: "We're cheaper, come with us, and we'll give you amazing discounts," then you have a serious problem because you're unable to offer real value. Whatever else you say is not credible. It’s as simple as that.   Fortunately, customers are not foolish—they know how to tell the difference.

Today, I’m proud to share Red Points’ most ambitious research to date. We’ve just launched The Counterfeit Buyer Teardown—the largest U.S. study on online counterfeit shopping, built from insights from 2,000 counterfeit e-shoppers and over 1,000 brands. The main conclusion is clear: AI is fueling the counterfeit economy. And there is an especially revealing finding: fraudulent rogue websites are projected to grow an astonishing 70% year-over-year in 2025. As AI reshapes the future of commerce, we believe the only way to protect what’s real is to outsmart what’s fake — that’s what Red Points is all about: AI against AI. Check the report now! 👇

SIMON SINEK WROTE AN AMAZING BOOK ABOUT THE WHY. TODAY I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE HOW Last week I was told a truly heartbreaking case of sexual harassment at work. A young woman was sexually assaulted by the director of her department and, after months of trying to overcome it, she was unable to do so. The fear she felt every time she saw him gradually deteriorated her health, to the point where she had to leave her job and seek help. One more among so many similar cases. But if I want to talk about this today, it is because the most terrible aspect of this particular case was the lack of protection she experienced within her company. The lack of an immediate response to such an obvious case led her to disaster, but it could also very likely bring the company down. Simon Sinek wrote an essential book titled WHY. Today I want to talk about the HOW. Purpose in a company is essential, strategy is necessary, the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet are permanent objectives—but CULTURE, how things are done, is what sustains everything. Without an appropriate company culture, without an ethical, consistent HOW that is truly lived and not just talked about, even the most worthy purpose collapses. This weekend I reflected a lot on this, because I am very proud of the culture we have built at Red Points. Culture is what you do when no one is watching. We do what we say. For us, the HOW is just as important as the WHY and our economic North Stars. No one is immune to cases like the one I mentioned, but what matters is what you do about them. It happened to us—not once, but twice—and in both cases the harasser (proven, as there were witnesses in both situations) was out of the company within 24 hours. In our culture, a safe work environment is non-negotiable and not open for debate. And beyond simply being the right thing to do, it also turns out that in the long term, with a strong and non-negotiable culture, you go further.
