🎃 October will focus on a new four-part series about how 'The Future of Design Will Be Shaped By Intelligence Builders.'
In Part 1, I talk about how designers have always looked to Jony Ive. Who undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the surfaces we touch and see. Turning everything into poetry for the eye. Ive's work taught the world to expect more from design.
But with the Era of Intelligence upon us, Ive might not be the kind of leader designers need to look up to next. The real work has shifted to the substrate, we don't want to continue polishing surfaces anymore.
So we look to a new kind of leader. One that, similar to Ive, is architecting poetry for the mind. Driving the world forward at the intelligence layer.
Demis Hassabis is the new kind of design leader that will shine the light on our path forward.
