Top creators don’t guess LinkedIn hooks. They reverse-engineer them. Most people open ChatGPT and ask it to “write a hook.” That’s the mistake. Because strong hooks come from patterns. Not inspiration. Here’s the simple system I use: Step 1: Collect viral hooks Start saving strong first lines. Look for: → curiosity gaps → bold claims → numbers → contrarian opinions That’s your hook library. Once you have 20–50 examples, you’ll start seeing patterns immediately. Step 2: Let AI analyse the patterns Upload your hook collection. Then ask: “Analyse these LinkedIn hooks and identify their patterns.” Now AI becomes your strategist (not just your writer). It shows you: → what repeats → what structures work → why they work That’s your framework. Step 3: Generate hooks on demand Once patterns are clear, you stop guessing and start generating. Now your prompt becomes: “Use these hook patterns to generate 3 distinct hooks for this post.” This turns AI into your personal hook engine. Not a content slot machine. I’ve collected 100+ high-performing hooks from top creators and added them into my Hook GPT. You’re telling stories on LinkedIn… but no one is reading them. Here’s the real problem: Your story doesn’t pull people in. It just… explains things. And on LinkedIn, explanations don’t convert. Stories do. From the difference comes down to one simple formula: → Moment  → Struggle  → Lesson That’s the “magic.” Miss one… and nothing clicks. Because: - No moment = no hook - No struggle = no emotion - No lesson = no value So even if people read… they won’t remember. Or act. Here’s how to fix it: 1. Start with a moment  Not “my journey…”  But a specific scene 2. Show the struggle  What made it hard? messy? uncomfortable? 3. Land the lesson  What should they do with this? That’s how a story turns into a system. And a post turns into pipeline. — I’ll be breaking down this storytelling “magic" and other tips to attract high-intent clients on Linkedin. 📆 RSVP for my FREE Leadspicker webinar, tmr 8pm SGT - link in comments  😉

Steal my 7-step content system (Without spending 8h on Canva) When I first started building carousels on Linkedin, I thought “good design” meant fancy fonts and perfect stock photos. I’d spend hours tweaking layouts, second-guessing colour palettes, and still end up wondering, “Why doesn’t this feel right?” That’s when I realised, I needed a system to make it work. Once I built a CANVA system, everything changed. Now I can design carousels in minutes, clean, cohesive, and completely on-brand. Here’s the framework I use  🔵 Set your Canva size to 1080 × 1350px 🟢 Build a Brand Kit (one font, two colours — that’s it) 🟣 Start with a Hook Slide — under 10 words 🟠 Use AI tools like Ideogram to match your vibe 🟡 Keep Body Slides simple — title, subtitle, image, caption 🔴 Make your titles tell a story (Step 1 → Step 2 → Step 3) 🟤 End with a CTA Slide — ask, invite, or give something ⚪ Save it all as a Brand Template It's one of the top-performing post types on Linkedin. Creators like Awa K. Penn, Charlie Hills 🦩 and MJ Jaindl have mastered the art & science of carousels. Because once you have structure, design becomes storytelling. And storytelling — that’s what sells. 👉 Swipe through the full carousel for examples + visuals. Don't forget to follow Audrey Chia fore more Content Strategy Tips!

How To USE Claude For Marketing & Content (I'm saying goodbye to ChatGPT 🥹 ) So I have a confession.... I have been using ChatGPT for a long while now. But I thought it's time to explore a new relationship and see if the grass is really greener on the other side. On Claude's side. And well, I have been very impressed by Claude. Instead of one-off prompts, you can structure AI to support larger functions. For example: 🧡Projects Save context about your brand, positioning, and goals so you don’t need to repeat them every time. 💙Artifacts Generate files you can actually use. Landing pages, email sequences, content calendars. 💜MCP Integrations Pull real documents from tools like Drive, Notion, or Slack directly into your prompts. 💛Custom Instructions Set how Claude should write. Your tone, style, and preferences. 💖Skills - MY NEW BAE Upload frameworks, templates, and processes so Claude follows your methodology. So ChatGPT, it has been great fun. But I think it's time for us to part ways for a bit... and maybe one day you might Woo me back 🤣 Tell me, are you team ChatGPT or team Claude?

I sat at a table with complete strangers, eating traditional mutton soup, feeling completely at home. Last Tuesday, Eldred Wee, a former client and now a dear friend, invited me to a Hainanese Palm Island Club dinner. It was hosted at 5 Senses Cafe & Restaurant, a traditional heritage shop run by a Father and Son duo. The feast was sumptuous. 😋 We had Yi Bua (薏粑), chicken rice and this incredible favourite mutton soup brewed with 20 different herbs. Honestly one of the best things I've eaten in years. But the food wasn't the only thing that stayed with me. It was watching a community get together. People of all ages (from kids to the elderly) coming together. Learning how to speak in Hainanese. Laughing and joking in jest. For many of us in Singapore, we've lost touch of our roots. Our ancestors came from different parts of China, and found their home here. Each carried their language and culture to this island generations ago. I'm Teochew so I was a guest at this table. But sitting there, I felt so welcomed & at home. What inspires me most is how Eldred Wee has built such a powerful community both online and offline. His 7 words are "Hainanese Dad Connecting People Through Valued Relationships." He owns it. And he lives it. It's been such a pleasure watching him grow on LinkedIn and then take it so much further through genuine human connection. This is what great personal branding actually looks like. Grateful for you, Eldred Wee. And for the reminder that the best connections still happen in-person 💛

Some of the best AI conversations happen over… hawker food 🤤 Recently, I met the lovely Valeriya Pilkevich, an AI trainer and educator I connected with on LinkedIn. She was visiting the sunny island of Singapore 🇸🇬 so I brought her to Lau Pa Sat, one of our most iconic hawkers with our local Chicken Rice, Laksa and Kaya Toast. Beyond the food, what I really enjoyed was the conversation. We share the same mission. Upskilling others. Sharing knowledge. Making AI more accessible to everyone. I asked Valeria a few quick questions. ✨ Q: What’s the biggest mistake organisations make with AI? 🪄 A: Treating AI as a tool rollout instead of a transformation. Many organisations underestimate the amount of change management and process redesign required. AI doesn’t just add efficiency. It fundamentally changes how teams operate. ✨ Q: What’s one AI skill every professional should learn right now? 🪄A: “Button courage.” The courage to press the button and experiment. Because the people who win with AI are often the ones who are simply willing to explore. ✨ Q: What’s one thing business owners should be doing right now? 🪄A: Investing in their personal brand. When your ideas and expertise are visible, you become far harder to replace. ✨Q: What's your favourite Singapore dish? 🪄A: Oyster omelet! It was such a pleasure meeting you Valeriya Pilkevich & Moritz 🥰 Visit us again or maybe the next time, I'll be visiting you in Germany ;)

Most brands try to buy Gen Z's trust. Trip.com's Head of Branding told me why that never works. I had the privilege of working with LinkedIn China 领英中国 to host an interview with Jessie Zhai, Head of Corporate Branding at Trip.com Group. And her answer to one question stuck with me. Do Gen Z care more about emotional value or trustworthiness? Her answer: both. But not equally. → Trust gets you into the consideration set. → Emotional value is what makes them convert. For Gen Z, a brand isn't just something they buy from. It's something they belong to. What Trip.com did differently was build experiences around that truth. When thousands of fans were crossing cities for concerts, struggling to find hotels and transport after the show, Trip.com didn't just sell them a ticket. They built an entire trip around the experience. Flights, hotels, event access, themed shuttles. That's what "solving a real problem" actually looks like at on a global level. The other thing Jessie said that I keep thinking about: "AI can generate content that looks real, sounds real. But no algorithm can fake a flight that takes off." Trust is still a human business. The brands that win aren't the ones with the flashiest content. They're the ones that show up, deliver, and keep their word. What do you think builds more trust with today's buyers: emotional connection or consistent delivery?

You're posting on LinkedIn consistently. But the DMs aren't coming in. The leads aren't converting. The pipeline feels unpredictable. And somewhere along the way, you started wondering if LinkedIn even works for your business. It does. But only when your presence is built for buyers, not just engagement. Most LinkedIn profiles signal "content creator." Not "the person I need to hire." Over the past 3+ years, I have built my profile from 0 - 70K followers. Last year, I got 3M+ organic impressions with $0 in ad spend. And more importantly... I’ve worked with founders and business owners who’ve built entire inbound pipelines on this platform. This Thursday, I'm joining Leadspicker for a free webinar on exactly this. How to Build a LinkedIn Presence That Attracts High-Intent Customers We'll cover: → Why your profile is losing buyers before they read a single post → How to position your content so the right people recognise you immediately → The system that moves people from follower to warm lead If you've been showing up on LinkedIn but not seeing the pipeline results, this is for you. 🗓 See you this Thursday - Don't forget to RSVP 😉
