Most people are still trying to win on LinkedIn the way it used to work. 1. Post more. 2. Chase likes 3. Stack comments 4. Hope the algorithm notices That model rewarded volume and surface activity. It doesn’t anymore. What this infographic shows, and what many people are feeling without being able to name, is a real shift in how visibility is earned. That's right, you have to earn the right to be visible. LinkedIn is no longer evaluating posts in isolation. It’s looking at your profile and your content together to understand who you are professionally and whether your ideas demonstrate depth. In simple terms, it’s moving from counting reactions to weighing the quality of insight. That’s why saves now matter more than likes. A save signals usefulness. It states that the content helped someone think, decide, or act differently. It carries far more weight than a quick reaction, and it lasts longer. Let's give it a try! Click on the three dots on the top right of this post and click on the "Save" bookmark. 🙃 It’s also why shallow engagement is fading in impact. Fast likes and generic comments don’t tell LinkedIn much. Time spent reading, thoughtful responses, and content that actually teaches are stronger signals because they show intent and relevance. The biggest mistake I see is confusing consistency with frequency. Consistency today is about anchoring your content around a small set of topics and showing up with perspective. When your posts reinforce each other, LinkedIn understands what you are known for and who should be seeing you. This is the shift from social graph to interest graph. Visibility is no longer driven by who you know or how often you post. It’s driven by what you know and how clearly you demonstrate it. If your strategy is built on hacks and hustle, you’ll keep working harder for less reach. If it’s built on substance, alignment, and usefulness, reach becomes a byproduct. That’s the change this image captures. Social Selling content needs to: 1. Resonate with your buyer 2. Create curiosity 3. Teach them something new 4. Get them thinking differently about their current solution 5. Generate enough value that they want to 'Save' your post (and like, comment, and share) Test your content out on my digital twin, https://Brynne.ai, and convert it into insights-driven ideas that outperform everyone else's clickbait. #sslinsights Bob Woods Stan Robinson, Jr. Brad Pearse Alex Kutsishin Social Sales Link FUEL !nc
