I’m sure Meta is upset about the Gartner GenAI MQ. As the early leader that launched Llama the best open source llm that disrupted the OpenAI dominated market, it suddenly went south. Google on the other hand is achieving solid progress on #Gemini. What does this mean to all AI founders ? Amazing time to build ASI !🚀 My longer analysis: Gartner just dropped a fresh look at the Generative AI model landscape — and the market is maturing fast. A few takeaways from the new quadrant: • OpenAI, Google, Anthropic , Amazon Web Services (AWS) , Microsoft , Alibaba Cloud, and IBM sit firmly in Emerging Leaders — combining strongest features with highest future potential. • Meta and Mistral AI land in Emerging Challengers — huge technical capability, building fast toward broader enterprise adoption. • Vectara (congrats Amr Awadallah ), AI21 Labs, Orq.ai stand out as Emerging Visionaries — differentiated approaches, high long-term upside. • Adobe, Fujitsu, Scaleway, H2O.ai and others represent Emerging Specialists — strong niche strengths serving targeted enterprise needs. The longer takeaway: We’re moving from “model hype” to a clear enterprise AI stack — with leaders, challengers, and visionaries crystallizing. For builders and enterprises, this is the moment to choose partners not only by model quality, but by ecosystem, trust, and ability to integrate into real workflows.
