Last month, I traveled to Israel with 35 female executives for a series of conversations and visits across the region.
As a proud Jewish woman who has vocally stood up for Israel post-October 7th, and a former reporter and producer, it was really important to me to go to Israel myself to hear stories firsthand after seeing an onslaught of bias against Israel in the media.
In addition, given my work with female leaders, the opportunity to go to Israel with female executives from all over the country - I jumped at the chance. This trip was a perfect marriage of my personal and professional worlds coming together, in a very meaningful and impactful way.
Over four days we met with female members of the Knesset, female counterintelligence experts, a female Nova survivor, female IDF soldiers, female doctors, mothers of hostages who came home and those who did not, and the first lady of Israel, in addition to many other powerful speakers. It was so moving to experience Israel through the lens of all of these incredible women alongside the 35 passionate and successful women who came on the trip with me.
It was a life-changing experience. I absolutely felt a deeper connection to Israel than ever before and remain even more committed to telling the stories of heroic Israelis who have been through so much.
