The conference provided a fantastic platform for **fruitful discussions** on the latest trends and challenges in surface technologies. The exchange with industry colleagues, researchers, and innovators was incredibly inspiring and provided many new impulses for future developments. From June 30 to July 2, I had the opportunity to attend and present at the AOFKA 2025 conference in Kaiserslautern, together with my colleagues Anne Zirbel and B. Arnimesh Nayak from Robert Bosch Manufacturing Solutions GmbH. AOFKA 2025, focused on Applied Surface and Solid-State Analysis, brought together leading scientists, engineers, and industry experts working at the interface of surface technologies, electromobility, hydrogen applications, and sustainability. 🔧 At the Bosch Manufacturing Solutions | Surface Technologies booth, we presented several of our flagship technologies that are shaping the future of industrial coating and analysis: ✨ High-Tech Inline Coating Machine ⚙️ PCS Series – Plasma Coating Systems A fully automated, high-throughput solution for advanced coatings in production environments - combining: • PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) • PECVD (Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) Both types are a modular platform adaptable from R&D labs to industrial scale, offering robust, efficient coating using our unique Microwave Technology for a range of materials including Au, Pt, DLC and MeN.
