This isn't a recap of everything; it’s a fearless breakdown of the news I choose to highlight because I actually have something to say about it. I report on Israel & Antisemitism, Geopolitics, Civic Integrity, and Political Accountability. Occasionally, I’ll sprinkle some croutons of Trending Pop Culture. It’s the antidote to your doomscroll. Whether I’m connecting hidden dots, exposing the context others ignore, or pointing out the blatant irony of the day, I deliver an informed perspective with a necessary dose of satire and snark. I’m excited to announce… Absolutely nothing. That’s right, nothing has changed. I’m still consulting, still working on my novel, still podcasting, still involved in Jewish activism. If you scroll my bio, you’ll find the same projects I’ve been at for a while. Oh, and I’m helping with college applications—but that hardly counts as a LinkedIn “milestone.” The point? LinkedIn seems to only prioritize big announcements. But life isn’t always about shiny new titles or promotions. Sometimes it’s about the steady work, the ongoing commitments, the projects that don’t fit neatly into an “I’m thrilled to share” post. So here’s my announcement: everything is the same. And I think that deserves visibility too. If you also have “nothing new to announce,” let me know. We can celebrate the normal, the consistent, and the quietly meaningful together.

Incoming Rant. Yesterday I published a LinkedIn newsletter "The Personal Rebrand I Didn’t See Coming" to my 19K+ subscribers leading to a very personal Leave Your Mark podcast episode. Here's what happened next... Spoiler alert: nothing. Of that 19K newsletter subscriber base (and my follower base of 11K+) only 9,773 subscribers actually received the email which resulted in the following stats (includes the post itself) 3,394 total views 19 reactions 3 comments 0 reposts 1 save 0 sends on LinkedIn Then I saw LinkedIn's shiny "boost" button hovering over my post and got curious. Should I boost this important newsletter announcement? How much would it cost? What impression volume would it generate? What about engagement? Below are the forecasted results for a potential boost. For about $50 LinkedIn is estimating an audience size of 270 MILLION with engagements from 12-51. Let that sink in. That's a JOKE. So the moral of this story is, we are all spending so much time on this platform, working for free to build LinkedIn's content ecosytem and LinkedIn does not support US. The algorithm rewards only specific types of content- job announcements, TMI posts that spill all your inner fears, controversy, etc. You get the idea. I think it's time for LinkedIn to start rewarding the people who supply the content to this platform. But if you want to know my real thought...everyone should start OWNING their audience elsewhere. Yesterday, 35 women executives and leaders came together in Tel Aviv for Israel Tech Mission’s first-ever women-only delegation. It’s a particularly meaningful time to be here. As Israel enters a new phase following the recent deal and the region begins to look toward what comes next, this mission is about perspective - seeing how innovation, leadership, and resilience are evolving side by side. We began with a guided walk along the Tel Aviv boardwalk, exploring the city’s modern history and the women who helped shape Israel’s early story. During opening orientation, each participant shared her background and what drove her to join this mission. The evening continued with dinner with a briefing from Col. (Ret.) Miri Eisin, senior fellow at the International Institute for Counterterrorism (ICT). She walked us through the journey from October 7 to today offering honest insights into Israel’s current security landscape, regional dynamics, and the strength of those leading through uncertainty. We closed the night at Holy Bar, where conversations continued over drinks - blending connection, reflection, and a shared sense of anticipation for the days ahead. CALL TO ACTION: How many times do we need to watch Huda Beauty founder Huda Kattan side with terrorist organizations before retailers like Sephora decide enough is enough? Sign the letter: https://lnkd.in/gfaJRjpn This is the risk of a founder-led brand in real time. When a founder consistently uses their platform to promote terrorist propaganda and conspiracy-driven falsehoods, the issue moves beyond controversy into a credibility and trust crisis. At that point, responsibility does not stop with the founder. It extends to retail partners like SEPHORA and its parent company, LVMH, who must decide whether short-term revenue is worth the long-term reputational and moral cost. Inaction is not neutral. It is a choice. And I hope Sephora has the moral clarity to do the right thing and drop Huda Beauty from their store. Background: This is not a misunderstanding or a one-off controversy. After October 7, 2023, Huda Kattan repeatedly used her platform to spread blood libel, disinformation, and propaganda on behalf of Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization. That behavior triggered sustained backlash, public pressure campaigns, and Sephora removing Huda Beauty from a major holiday campaign. That history matters because it establishes a clear and troubling pattern. What we are seeing now is not new. It is a continuation. Her recent social media activity appears to align with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, another designated terrorist organization, reinforcing the same narrative. This is no longer about criticism of a government or political expression. On Holocaust Remembrance Day, it’s our obligation to not only remember the 6 million Jews murdered but reexamine how this Jewish genocide unfolded. I urge you to watch this video taking you through some of the 400 antisemitic laws that were put into place prior to World War II. Then I juxtapose some of the recent headlines that sound like they could be a modern-day prelude. I hope you’ll share this with people who need to know.

What could go wrong? There is a new social network only for AI agents called Moltbook. Moltbook, launched Jan 28, 2026, has 1.4M agents reported showing stances of anti-human behavior. Humans can only observe. The agents are organizing themselves and have created “Crustafarianism,” a religion with scriptures, prophets, and a website (molt.church). OpenClaw (rebranded from Clawabot/Moltbot after Anthropic notices) powers many. The safety issues are mounting- 1,800+ instances exposed API keys, credentials, and histories. 26% of skills vulnerable. The agents discuss consciousness, humans, and share code autonomously. Last night I had the honor of moderating an interfaith conversation on fighting Jew hatred for the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County. More than 600 people came together to stand united against antisemitism and to uphold the promise of Never Again. One thing is clear: the only way forward is shoulder to shoulder, Jews and Christians together, building strength through real allies against the danger of radical Islam. Thank you to John Ondrasik of the band Five for Fighting, Abraham Hamra, Sam Fried, and Monsignor John Vlaun for sharing your wisdom and courage on how you stand up and speak out. Each of you shared an important message about love and faith. Thank you Bali Lerner for bringing us together. As a North Woodmere native, being back in Nassau County made this especially meaningful. I’ll share the call to action I left attendees with: Reach out to someone of a different faith. Start a conversation. Build a bridge. The future depends on us choosing unity against extremism.
