5 LinkedIn myths that are killing your reach. Spoiler: #3 might actually make you happy. 1. "Tag More People = More Reach" Mass-tagging is flagged as SPAM. What happens: → Reduced distribution → Potential account penalties → Annoyed connections Instead: Tag only people genuinely relevant who would actually want to engage. 2. "Hashtags Drive Distribution" Hashtags are not a distribution tool. What happens: → Minimal to zero algorithm impact → Cluttered post appearance → False sense of optimization Instead: Focus on content quality. Use 0-3 hashtags max (for categorization only). 3. "Post Daily to Stay Relevant" Daily posting without strategy = noise. What happens: → Audience fatigue → Lower engagement per post → Burnout and inconsistency Instead: Sustainable rhythm > high frequency. Quality > quantity, always. 4. "Auto-Engagement Tools Help Growth" LinkedIn detects and penalizes automation. What happens: → Flagged account activity → Reduced organic reach → Risk of restrictions Instead: Manual, genuine engagement only. Real comments > bot comments. 5. "Mix Languages to Reach More People" Mixing languages confuses algorithm + audience. What happens: → Algorithm can't categorize properly → Readers get confused mid-post → Lower engagement overall Instead: One language per post. Trust LinkedIn's auto-translation. Save this infographic for reference. ♻️ Repost for your network. --- P.S. What myth would you add to the list?

LinkedIn has changed. Stop playing by the old rules. OLD LinkedIn (Myths) vs NEW LinkedIn (Reality): ❌ Comment anything for volume. ✅ Thoughtful comments (15+ words) drive reach. ❌ Post daily to stay visible. ✅ Quality + 24hr spacing wins. ❌ Go broad to go viral. ✅ Niche relevance > mass virality. ❌ Short punchy posts win. ✅ Long-form (800-1000 words) ranks higher. ❌ Video is king. ✅ Video reach down 200%. Dwell time is king. ❌ Carousels are dead. ✅ Carousels perform 1.9x better. ❌ Links always kill reach. ✅ Links with value still perform. In 2026, this is what matters on LinkedIn: → Depth over frequency. → Proof over performance. → Teaching over entertaining. Repost this for your network. ♻️ --- P.S. This is how you make ChatGPT write like you. There's a hidden feature 99% users ignore. It's called "Custom Instructions." You tell ChatGPT 2 things once: 1. Who you are (your job, industry, goals) 2. How you want replies (short, casual, bullets) Now every conversation starts with that context. No repeating yourself. Here's how to set it up: 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: 𝗚𝗼 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 Profile icon → Settings → Personalization → Custom Instructions. Works on web, iOS, and Android. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 Give ChatGPT context about WHO you are. → Your job title → Your industry → What you're working on → Who you're creating for 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗜 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 Tell ChatGPT HOW you want answers. → Keep it short or detailed? → Casual or professional tone? → Bullet points or paragraphs? 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰: 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 Tell it what you DON'T want. → No fluff or filler → No corporate jargon → No long intros 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟱: 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 Your work changes. Update your instructions when it does. Before vs After: ❌Generic answers, repeating yourself every chat ✅Tailored replies from the first message (Save this for later) ♻️ Repost for someone still using default ChatGPT. --- P.S. In 2026, LinkedIn is the #2 most cited AI source. Your posts are now permanent records. Posting on LinkedIn matters more than ever. Learn how the Algorithm works (shared directly by LinkedIn): 𝟭. 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot pull answers directly from LinkedIn. → Every post = potential AI citation → Consistent POV = authority signal → Your expertise becomes discoverable beyond LinkedIn 𝟮. 𝗔𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 Frequency alone no longer drives reach. 2 signals matter now: 1. Dwell Time: How long someone stops to read 2. Meaningful Engagement: Quality > quantity The math: 10 thoughtful comments > 200 likes 𝟯. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 The Comment Amplification Loop: Someone comments → Their network sees it → New audience discovers you → They comment → Loop restarts A single post can gain reach for DAYS. 𝟰. In 2026, everyone is moving to Claude. 2.5 million people quit ChatGPT in one week. Claude Skills is the most powerful tool right now. Chris Donnelly has dropped an excellent guide to learn it in 60 seconds. (Save it to return back later) 🔸What is Claude Skills? Skills transforms Claude from a search engine to a team member. 🔸Without Skills You re-explain your role, your tone and your context every session. 🔸With Skills Claude auto-loads exactly what it needs for each task. 🔸Anatomy of a Skill Role: Who Claude is in this context Rules: What to do, what to avoid, tone and format Trigger: When the Skill auto-loads Store Skills in ~/.claude/skills/ as a SKILL .md file per task. 🔸How to Set Up a Skill 1. Identify a recurring task 2. Create a SKILL .md file 3. Write the role, rules and trigger 4. Test it immediately 5. Refine what Claude gets wrong 6. Build a Skill library over time Anthropic has plenty of documentation to help with this: https://lnkd.in/gfTmszvm 🔸What Changes When You Use Skills - ~40 minutes saved per task - 1 prompt needed - 10 minutes to set up - 10x output consistency You build once. Then reuse forever. 🔸The 4 Mistakes That Kill Your Skills 🚫 Writing one Skill that does everything 🚫 Skipping the trigger definition 🚫 Never updating after Claude misses 🚫 Trying to perfect it before using it Prompt engineering is a must-have skill, but it will only get you so far. Founders who build systems that run without their attention are pulling ahead. --- P.S. Have you moved to Claude from ChatGPT too?

LinkedIn isn’t complicated. Growth comes down to 3 things: 1️⃣ Be consistent enough to be remembered. 2️⃣ Be clear enough to be understood. 3️⃣ Be human enough to be trusted. Do those 3 things, and the rest (likes, leads, opportunities) will follow. - - - Agree or disagree?

The Ultimate LinkedIn Growth Guide 2026. (How I've grown to #1 in the UK) Level 1: Profile Setup → Optimize for the 3-second rule → Photo, headline, banner, about, CTA Level 2: Algorithm Rules (2026) → Saves & shares are the new currency. → Carousels dominate. Long-form ranks higher. Level 3: Content Mix → 70% Teach (value, frameworks) → 20% Story (lessons, personality) → 10% Sell (offers, solutions) Level 4: 7-Step Post Formula Hook → Rehook→ Context → List → Proof → Lesson→ CTA Level 5: The 1-Hour Daily Routine → 10 min connecting → 20 min creating → 15 min engaging before posting → 15 min engaging after Level 6: The Growth Pyramid → Foundation → Consistency → Engagement → Authority → Demand LinkedIn ranks "engagement" high, as it is a "networking" platform. So make sure to not post & ghost. 🚫 Engage more than you post. ✅ --- ♻️ Repost if you found this helpful --- P.S. How much time do you spend on LinkedIn daily?

"What should I post today?" If you're asking this, you don't have content pillars. Follow this framework to build your pillars: 1. What are content pillars: 3-5 core topics you consistently post about. They help you: → Stay focused (no random posts) → Build authority in specific areas → Attract the RIGHT audience → Never run out of ideas 2. How to choose your pillars: Find the intersection of: 1. What you KNOW (expertise) 2. What you LOVE (passion) 3. What they NEED (audience pain points) 3. The 4-Pillar Formula: 🎯 Expertise → Teach your craft (40%) 📖 Story → Build connection (25%) 💡 Industry → Show awareness (20%) 🎭 Personal → Be relatable (15%) 4. My Pillars: → LinkedIn growth → AI tools & tutorials → Content creation tips → Personal brand building 5. How to build yours: Step 1: List 10 topics you could talk about forever Step 2: Cut what your audience won’t care about Step 3: Group into 4-5 pillars Step 4: Commit for 90 days 1 pillar = 50+ post ideas. Save this. Build yours. --- ♻️ Repost for your network. I recorded a masterclass on this topic: https://lnkd.in/dqJAmY9c --- P.S. Do you have content pillars?

I got 1.2M views in 60 days with AI infographics. I’m showing you my exact process (free) ↓ Comment "PROCESS" and I'll send it to you. Most people spend hours on one LinkedIn post. → Writing the caption → Designing the graphic → Editing, tweaking, second-guessing I used to be the same. Now? 5-10 minutes. Caption + graphic. Done. One tool does it all. I've gotten countless DMs asking: - "Who is your designer?" - "What tool are you using?" - "Can you share your process?" So, I recorded a 10min tutorial showing: ↳ How I create viral LinkedIn infographics with AI. What it covers: ✅ How I generate post ideas in seconds ✅ My exact prompting process for captions ✅ How I create branded infographics (same tool) ✅ The workflow that saves me 5+ hours every week This is the same process behind 70% of graphics you've seen on my profile. I've officially crossed 100k followers on LinkedIn. Wow. Thank you. I started posting here because I felt like a failure for starting over in my career at 25. To get ahead, I thought, let’s network on LinkedIn. Not knowing the power of this platform. In just 3 years, I’ve built my dream career that I didn’t even *know* existed. A BTS of my business just this week: 🔹Creators meetup with gamma  🔹Advertising week in London with LinkedIn  🔹A masterclass for my club with Justin Wright 🔹Private dinner with the biggest AI companies in the world (Gamma, Anthropic, ElevenLabs) I met so many of you IRL + virtual this week. THAT is the most fun experience of building a personal brand → the connections you “attract” from it. 100% recommend building a network here. Even better if you take it IRL 👀👉 https://lnkd.in/eMeDSest Thank you, 100k!

LinkedIn is now the #2 most cited source by AI. Yes, you read that right. When ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode pull information, LinkedIn ranks higher than: → Wikipedia (9.53%) → YouTube (8.77%) → Medium (5.83%) → Forbes (3.43%) → Google's own blog (3.18%) Only Reddit beats it (11.29%). What does this mean for you? Your LinkedIn posts aren't just reaching your network anymore. - They're training AI models. - They're being cited in AI answers. - They're becoming internet's knowledge base. This changes everything about how you should think about content. You can be the source → not the person quoting sources. 3 years ago, I was a nobody at events. Yesterday, Sophie recommend me on stage at Virgin's London HQ. I was sitting in the audience. - I wasn't there to pitch. - I wasn't there to network. - I wasn't even supposed to be there. I saw she was speaking nearby and thought let me just go support her. No agenda. No expectations. Just showing up for a friend. Then she said my name. The whole room turned around. After the talk, people came up to me asking questions & how to join my community. And I just stood there thinking: This is what real networking looks like. ❌ Not "let's hop on a quick call" DMs. ❌ Not "I'd love to pick your brain" messages. Real networking is building friendships so genuine that people mention you in rooms, whether you're there or not. Sophie didn't know I'd be there. She recommended me anyway. If you're treating LinkedIn like a transaction, you're doing it wrong. Building a network here the "right" way is powerful. And it can truly change your life. Support others and you'll find your support system. It can be as simple as "leaving a comment" on a post. That's how I met Sophie‼️ Until it’s my turn, I'll keep clapping for others. --- Have you made a friend via comments here?

LinkedIn growth isn't a ladder. It's a pyramid most people climb upside down. I collaborated with Marina to show you the right way up. Most people jump straight to "selling" without building any trust. Follow these 5 levels to grow with strategy instead: 1. Foundation → Define one clear niche → Write a strong headline → Optimize your About section → Choose 3-4 core content pillars Result: People instantly understand who you are. 2. Consistency → Post 3-4 times per week → Share insights from your experience → Turn expertise into simple frameworks → Batch your content weekly Result: Your visibility grows and people recognize your voice. 3. Engagement → Comment on relevant posts daily → Reply to every comment on your posts → Ask questions in your content → Start conversations in DMs Result: Relationships grow and the algorithm increases your reach. 4. Authority → Share deeper industry insights → Publish your own frameworks → Break down complex topics clearly → Challenge common advice Result: People start trusting and respecting your ideas. 5. Demand → Share case studies and results → Address common client pain points → Show behind-the-scenes work → Turn content into offers or lead magnets Result: People start coming to you. Most skip to Level 5 and wonder why nothing works. The pyramid only works from the bottom up. ♻️ Repost for your network. --- P.S. Which level do you find the most difficult?

🚨Anthropic just published a major report on how AI could affect jobs. The findings are worth looking at: 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗜: → Legal → Sales → Management → Arts & Media → Computer & Math → Business & Finance → Education & Library → Office & Administrative → Architecture & Engineering 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗜: → Healthcare → Agriculture → Construction → Food & Serving → Transportation → Protective Services → Installation & Repair Here's what stood out: • Most at-risk: female, white, older, higher paid. • College grads are 4× more likely to be affected • Safest jobs? Manual labor AI can't automate (yet) • Entry hiring dropped 14% since ChatGPT launched • High-risk jobs aren't firing yet; they've stopped hiring The most concerning part: AI models can already automate large portions of work today. But legal limits and slow company adoption are delaying it. So it's not just a skill issue → it's an adoption issue. One caveat: the study mixes real-world data with theoretical intelligence. Some jobs (manual labor) didn't meet minimum data requirements. Take results with caution. Anthropic deserves credit for transparency here. They're the company behind Claude, which will shape many of these changes. Studies like these help us understand where the labor market is heading. ♻️ Repost for your network. --- P.S. 🚨The biggest AI launch of 2026 just dropped. (This will 100% change how you work with AI) Right now, you must be using 5-7 different AI tools. → ChatGPT for writing → Midjourney for images → Runway or Sora for video → ElevenLabs for audio → Canva for design Each tool = separate login, separate subscription. You spend more time switching apps than actually creating. Luma AI just solved this. They launched "Luma Agents" → creative AI partners that work with you from concept to completion. • You set the creative direction in plain English. • Luma Agents hold context & pick the right tools. • You iterate together, refining the work until it’s ready. Check it out (free) here: https://lnkd.in/eyYmsYWi What this means for you: 1. Lower costs (one tool vs. many) 2. Faster execution (minutes, not hours) 3. Better outputs (tools working together, not in silos) We're entering the era of AI orchestration. The skill isn't "using ChatGPT" anymore. It's knowing how to direct AI agents to do the work for you.
