Saudi Pharma 2025: The End of the Riyadh-Centric Era? According to recent market intelligence and projections aligned with IQVIA insights, the Saudi pharmaceutical landscape is entering a multi-regional growth phase moving beyond its historical reliance on the Central Region. This shift is closely aligned with the broader transformation under Saudi Vision 2030, where healthcare access, insurance expansion, and regional infrastructure are accelerating demand across the Kingdom. 2025 Market Share Outlook (Estimated Regional Split) Central Region (37%) Maintains leadership position, but growth is stabilizing. Market maturity and high competition are compressing incremental gains. Western Region (28%) One of the fastest-growing regions. Driven by increased Hajj & Umrah capacity and Red Sea tourism initiatives fueling demand in acute care segments. Eastern Region (23%) A high-value growth hub. Strong insurance penetration and industrial workforce expansion are boosting chronic and specialty portfolios. Southern Region (12%) An emerging opportunity market. Healthcare infrastructure investments are increasing access and volume, with long-term upside potential. What This Means for Pharma Leaders: Shift from Central Dependency → Regional Optimization Growth is no longer concentrated—resource allocation must evolve. Prioritize Western Agility Seasonal demand patterns require flexible supply chains and forecasting precision. Capitalize on Eastern Value Pools Focus on payer-driven strategies and value-based engagement models. Build for Long-Term Access in the South Early positioning today can secure future market leadership. #SaudiPharma #Vision2030 #HealthcareKSA #PharmaStrategy #MarketInsights #IQVIA #KSAHealthcare

Pharmaceutical Policies in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 | Strategic Perspective Saudi Arabia’s pharmaceutical landscape is undergoing a structural shift — not incremental change, but a policy-driven transformation toward a regulated, value-based, and localized healthcare ecosystem. After reviewing recent regulatory frameworks and market reports, here are the key realities shaping the industry: Regulatory maturity is now global benchmark level The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has achieved WHO Maturity Level 4, placing it among the most advanced regulatory systems globally. Source: World Health Organization (WHO) Market access is centrally controlled and execution-driven Approval alone does not guarantee success. Institutional access is largely governed by NUPCO through unified procurement and tender systems. Source: NUPCO procurement model Pricing is regulated, not negotiated freely Saudi Arabia operates under structured pharmaceutical pricing rules, with increasing adoption of Managed Entry Agreements (MEA) for high-cost therapies. Source: Saudi Ministry of Health (MEA Policy), SFDA Pricing Guidelines End-to-end supply chain compliance is mandatory From serialization (Track & Trace) to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and shortage reporting, the Kingdom enforces full lifecycle control of pharmaceutical products. Source: SFDA Track & Trace System, GSDP Guidelines Pharmacovigilance is a strategic requirement, not a formality Companies must maintain robust PV systems, risk management plans, and continuous safety reporting aligned with global standards. Source: SFDA Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) Localization is no longer optional Driven by Vision 2030 and national programs like the Health Sector Transformation Program, Saudi Arabia is accelerating: - Local manufacturing - Biotech & biosimilars - Supply chain independence Source: Vision 2030, National Industrial Development & Logistics Program (NIDLP) Market evolution is clear From:Import-driven pharmaceutical market To:Integrated, regulated, and value-based healthcare ecosystem Strategic takeaway for pharma leaders: Success in Saudi Arabia is no longer defined by portfolio strength alone. It is defined by regulatory excellence, supply reliability, tender strategy, and alignment with national vision. - World Health Organization (WHO) – SFDA Maturity Level 4 - Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) – Regulatory Framework, GVP, Pricing Rules - Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) – Managed Entry Agreements Policy - NUPCO – Unified Procurement Model - Vision 2030 – Health Sector Transformation Program & NIDLP - ReportLinker – Pharmaceutical Policies in Saudi Arabia #Pharmaceuticals #SaudiArabia #SFDA #HealthcareLeadership #MarketAccess #Vision2030 #PharmaStrategy #Regulator

“And if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind.” Yesterday, I came across these powerful words during our visit at Saudi German Health Madinah. As healthcare sales professionals, we may not be on the front lines of patient care but the solutions we bring, the technologies we support, and the partnerships we build play a vital role in enabling those who are. Every product delivered, every system optimized, and every collaboration strengthened ultimately contributes to better patient outcomes. Proud to be part of a field where our work, directly and indirectly, supports saving lives. #HealthcareSales #PatientOutcomes #pharmaksa #Partnerships #Impact #SGH

Saudi Pharma 2026: "Strategy Will Matter More Than Scale" Following the shift toward a multi-regional market, one thing is becoming clear: Scale alone will not guarantee success anymore. For years, dominance in the Central Region was enough to drive national performance. But in the emerging landscape, winning will depend on how well companies adapt to regional complexity. What will separate leaders from followers? Precision Market Segmentation A “one-size-fits-all” national strategy is no longer effective. Each region now behaves like a distinct market with unique drivers. Supply Chain Intelligence Especially in the Western Region, where demand is seasonal and dynamic, agility will outperform volume. Payer-Centric Models In the Eastern Region, success will increasingly depend on navigating insurance dynamics and demonstrating value not just driving prescriptions. Early Investment in Emerging Markets The Southern Region may be smaller today, but the companies that build presence early will define the market tomorrow. The question for pharma leaders is no longer: “How big is your footprint?” It is: “How smart is your strategy?” The Saudi market is not just expanding. It is evolving and 2026 will reward those who adapt faster than the rest. #SaudiPharma #Vision2030 #PharmaLeadership #MarketStrategy #HealthcareKSA #FutureOfPharma

Great healthcare partnerships are not built only in meeting rooms they are built every day on the hospital floor, beside patients, alongside the teams that make care possible. Grateful to be part of the International Nurses Week celebration at Al-Sobh Hospital and to witness the incredible energy and dedication of the nursing department. Moments like this are a reminder that healthcare is more than products, targets, or strategies it is about supporting the people who carry the responsibility of patient care every single day. Proud to engage with healthcare professionals who continue to raise the standard of care through commitment, teamwork, and compassion. Respect and appreciation to all nurses for the impact you create beyond what words can describe. #Healthcare #Nursing #HospitalLeadership #HealthcarePartnerships #MedicalDevices #PatientCare #NursesWeek #SaudiGermanHealth #BusinessDevelopment #HealthcareProfessionals #Jeddah

A few friends recently asked me, “Where have you been?” The truth is, I’ve been exactly where I love to be—meeting people, building relationships, learning something new every day, and working on ideas that can make a difference in healthcare. As professionals, we often share the highlights, but many of the most meaningful moments happen behind the scenes. The conversations, the challenges, the teamwork, and the small wins that slowly turn into bigger achievements. Looking back at my journey, I feel grateful for every mentor, colleague, customer, healthcare professional, and friend who has been part of it. Each interaction has taught me something valuable and helped shape who I am today. The journey continues, with the same focus: creating value, developing people, building strong partnerships, and contributing to a healthier future. Thank you to everyone who continues to support, encourage, and inspire me. Onward and upward. #Leadership #Healthcare #CareerJourney #GrowthMindset #BusinessDevelopment #Partnerships #PeopleDevelopment #Pharma #ProfessionalGrowth #HealthcareLeadership

Saudi Pharmaceutical Market | H1 2026 Perspective As we complete the first half of 2026, Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its position as the largest pharmaceutical market in the GCC and one of the most strategically important healthcare markets in the Middle East. The Kingdom's healthcare transformation, supported by Vision 2030, continues to create significant opportunities across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, market access, and healthcare delivery. Industry forecasts indicate that the Saudi pharmaceutical market is expected to reach approximately USD 11.7–12.3 billion in 2026, representing an estimated 5–8% growth compared with 2025. This growth is being driven by continued healthcare investment, expansion of healthcare infrastructure, increased access to innovative therapies, and a stronger focus on pharmaceutical localization. Key market trends observed during H1 2026: Accelerated adoption of biologics, biosimilars, and specialty care therapies Continued expansion of private sector healthcare participation Increased focus on local manufacturing and supply chain resilience Greater emphasis on value-based healthcare and patient outcomes Growing importance of strategic partnerships between healthcare providers, regulators, and industry stakeholders For commercial and healthcare leaders, H1 2026 has reinforced a critical reality: Sustainable growth is no longer driven solely by product portfolios. Market leaders are differentiating themselves through: Strategic Key Account Management Market Access Excellence Scientific and Medical Engagement Data-Driven Decision Making Customer-Centric Commercial Models As Saudi Arabia advances its healthcare transformation agenda, the organizations that combine innovation, agility, and long-term value creation will be best positioned to succeed in H2 2026 and beyond. The Saudi pharmaceutical sector remains one of the most attractive growth markets globally, and its evolution will continue to shape the future of healthcare across the region. #SaudiPharma #Vision2030 #KSAHealthcare #PharmaceuticalIndustry #MarketAccess #KeyAccountManagement #HealthcareTransformation #Biologics #CommercialExcellence #HealthcareLeadership #SaudiArabia #SaudiPharma #Vision2030 #HealthcareKSA #PharmaStrategy #MarketInsights #IQVIA #KSAHealthcare References: • Future Market Insights – Saudi Arabia Pharmaceutical Market Report • Fortune Business Insights – Saudi Arabia Pharmaceuticals Market Analysis • Grand View Research – Saudi Arabia Pharmaceutical Market Outlook • Coherent Market Insights – Saudi Arabia Pharmaceuticals Market Forecast

Early in my leadership journey, I believed double visits were mainly a tool to monitor performance, review execution, and ensure plans were being followed. Then one day, a Medical representative shared a perspective that changed my thinking. During a field coaching discussion, he said: "In all my years in this industry, managers have either visited me because I was struggling or never visited me at all." I asked him what he meant. He replied: "When sales are down, managers come to find out what's wrong. When sales are good, they assume everything is fine. Very few come simply to understand the market, support the team, or learn together." That conversation taught me an important lesson about leadership. People do not want leaders who appear only when there is a problem. They want leaders who remain connected during both success and challenges. Since then, I have viewed double visits differently. Not as an audit. Not as a trust check. Not as a reporting exercise. But as an opportunity to understand the realities of the field, listen to customers, learn from team members, and remove obstacles that stand in the way of success. The most memorable double visits are not the ones where targets are discussed. They are the ones where trust is built. Where a representative feels comfortable sharing challenges. Where ideas are exchanged openly. Where both manager and employee leave having learned something new. Leadership is not about watching people work. It is about working alongside them. Because when a team member says, "My manager understands my world," trust grows. And where trust grows, performance usually follows. The best field leaders don't visit to inspect. They visit to connect. #Leadership #FieldCoaching #SalesLeadership #PeopleDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #MedicalRepresentative #CommercialExcellence #Teamwork #LeadershipDevelopment #PharmaceuticalIndustry
