Women are 50% of the world's population. Yet, they receive 6% of healthcare investment.
Yes, 6%.
4 billion women and girls, and not a single system designed to measure, research, or govern their health the way we govern climate or education.
We have global indices for economic freedom, press freedom, climate readiness, education quality, gender parity. We are perfectly capable of measuring what we've decided matters.
And women's health matters.
We should have an index. Comparable data across countries. Coordinated research infrastructure. A policy framework. Something. Anything! But none of that exists. This isn't a gap. It's a design choice.
What if someone tried to actually build what's missing? A single, connected system where evidence feeds policy and policy feeds institutional change. All of it governed, funded, and designed to last.
That's what we've been working on with @Fatoumata Ly, we'll have more to share on that very soon.
