📣 Another one, soon after ChatGPT Health: Introducing ChatGPT for Healthcare and OpenAI for Healthcare. ChatGPT for Healthcare brings health intelligence together with trusted medical evidence, health workflows, enterprise controls, and HIPAA compliance–empowering clinicians and care teams to deliver higher-quality, more consistent care for patients. AI adoption has seen rapid growth among clinicians in the last year, driven by systematic challenges around increasing healthcare demand, admin load, and fragmentation of medical knowledge. OpenAI for Healthcare is a purpose-built set of products and includes ChatGPT for Healthcare and our API with HIPAA–providing a secure AI foundation for health organizations. ChatGPT for Healthcare is already rolling out to AdventHealth, Baylor Scott & White Health, Boston Children's Hospital, Cedars-Sinai, HCA Healthcare, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Stanford Medicine Children's Health and University of California, San Francisco. Our API already powers the healthcare ecosystem; thousands of organizations have configured it for HIPAA, including Abridge, Ambience Healthcare and EliseAI. This work builds on the research and safety foundations in health we’ve built, including HealthBench–an open evaluation built with hundreds of physicians–and the AI clinician copilot study with Penda Health–which saw reduced diagnostic and treatment errors for clinicians who used AI. Today every model we ship is trained to assist health professionals across clinical, research, and administrative workflows. This is one of the first things we started cooking up when we started focusing on health at OpenAI.
