This☝️is super important. When our “why” is rooted in values like love, joy, connection, growth and especially contribution, we naturally find the energy we need to persevere. If the motive is only about yourself, you can run out of steam... Especially when things get difficult. A meaningful, loving purpose beyond self-gain fuels lasting persistence. 💗

When I started my business nearly 2 decades ago I had no idea if it would work out. ⠀ ⠀ All I felt was incredibly overwhelmed and insecure. I cried a LOT. Sometimes I felt so scattered, I wondered if my brain was broken. But I kept putting one awkward foot in front of the other. ⠀ ⠀ Slowly, it began to take form.⠀ ⠀ Then, ten years into my entrepreneurial journey, I launched this ‘new’ B-School program. At first, people didn’t get it. One guy laughed in my face and said, “Are you KIDDING?!” That’s not a real business. C’mon honey. You must have a rich husband bankrolling you.” (No Mr. Douchebag, I did not.)⠀ ⠀ Now we’ve been running that program for 15 YEARS! We’ve had more than 80K people through B-School from 171 countries across 650+ industries. 😍 ⠀ ⠀ HERE’S THE POINT: What you’re capable of creating, experiencing, contributing and producing over the next few decades of your life will ASTOUND YOU. ⠀ ⠀ *But you’ve GOT to start now.*⠀ ⠀ Look, it’s impossible to know all the steps in advance. No one can promise it’ll work out the way you hope. But here’s what we DO know... that time is going to pass. ⠀ ⠀ What will the future you — you in 2036 or 2046 — be SO damn grateful that you started today? Meanwhile, other people seemed so clear. My partner Josh knew he wanted to be an actor since he was a little kid. Some people just know.
