Made my first $10,000 on the internet not with digital products but by selling a writing service. This is the quickest way to monetize online. And tomorrow, I'm sharing the exact roadmap I'd follow if I had to start from scratch in 2026:

If you showed me the full to-do list for any year of my life on January 1st, I would not start. And I think that's actually the point. So I've embraced 2 rules: 1. Don't plan that far in advance You can't see the whole mountain, and trying to will paralyze you before you even begin. 2. Don't think about the total effort Just overestimate, realize it's going to be very hard, and move on. The specifics will work themselves out. All you can know is what you're working on today. Everything else is just noise. 📌 I learned this skill while building my digital business. But I made my first $10,000 on the internet. (While working 50+ hours per week at my hedge fund job.) Ghostwriting is the perfect side hustle. So, I put together a 5-day blueprint to teach you how to: • Charge premium prices • Create your irresistible offer • Find your lucrative ghostwriting niche • Land new, high-paying clients every month In other words... Everything you need to get started in the next 5 days! Click "Visit my website" at the top of this post to get instant access to my proven blueprint (for FREE).

The cost of being average has never been higher. It's no longer a question. AI helps businesses eliminate mediocre employees. But it's not that AI is replacing workers. It's that ultra-talented team members (now armed with significantly more leverage) can play the role 5 other people used to have to play. And it's worth explaining why: AI allows for significantly easier CONTEXT SWITCHING. One single person can now wear multiple hats within a department because they have pre-set projects & skills that lets them "boot up" into the work much faster. These hold context and keep you organized in real time without having to hang on to the mental open loops. It's why you're seeing CEOs commit code again. They can immediately jump from a board meeting into coding mode because their AI projects can remind them where they left off. And this type of "flattening" is going to happen to every business. One talented marketer can: • Write ads • Record ads • Run ads • Write emails • Set up funnel tech • And write social content That used to take 5+ people. Insert whatever department or skill you want. The example holds. It will be the AI Orchestrators accomplishing more themselves than large teams used to accomplish. Margins will be higher. And these talented individuals will receive massive amounts of compensation. This isn't fear mongering. Just look around! You will not find a company actively looking to expand its headcount right now. And it's only getting started. So, what does that mean for you? I would recommend 2 things: 1. Get as close to revenue generation as possible. The more direct revenue you produce for the company, the less likely you will end up in these cuts. The further you are from revenue, the easier your role will be consolidated into someone else's. 2. Enter into a significant period of AI immersion. You need to take your upskilling very seriously. You want to put yourself in a position to orchestrate and play multiple roles at once. • Stay on the bleeding edge of every model • Proactively look to take on more responsibility • Force yourself into becoming more efficient and leveraged with these tools There is no downside to doing this and there is always upside from becoming more talented. 📌 The starting point I recommend: LinkedIn Ghostwriting with AI. The kinds of high-paying clients LinkedIn Ghostwriters serve don't have the time to play around with AI prompts (just like they don't have the time to write). So, there's never been a better time to get started as a ghostwriter and using it to master AI in the process. Ghostwriting is how I made my first $10,000 on the internet—and it ultimately helped me quit my 9 to 5. In the last 6 years, my little business has generated $20,000,000. I used 1 powerful tool to get here: (This idea will change how you approach every goal in your career, business, and relationships.) Bottleneck Analysis. Here's how it works: Most people are stuck because they try fixing EVERYTHING at once: • Taking endless courses • Starting 3 side projects • Reading 5 books at the same time Stop. Instead, focus on one bottleneck at a time. There are only 4 types of bottlenecks to achieving anything: • Not enough input → Add volume • Missing a part → Add that piece • Something in the way → Remove the blockage • Too slow/inefficient → Optimize the process And there's only ever one bottleneck to work on to reach your goal. The secret is to take them one at a time. Here's how: Step 1: Set a specific goal Compare these: • "Make more money" creates anxiety because there are too many paths. • "Make $6K/month ghostwriting for pet health companies" creates clear direction. General goals create stress, but specific goals create action. Step 2: Take immediate action Your bottlenecks only show up when you actually start moving. • Read about business for 5 years and learn nothing. • Or try selling something tomorrow, fail, and learn from the experience. Which will you choose? Step 3: Diagnose the bottleneck Once you spot your biggest bottleneck, treat it like the only problem that exists. Say no to everything else. Momentum comes from solving one constraint fully, not juggling five and never solving any of them. Step 4: Solve the bottleneck Once you solve a bottleneck, the next one becomes obvious. Imagine trying to run a marathon with: • No shoes (feet bleed at 50m)  • No clothes (arrested at 100m) • No fitness (collapse at mile 4) • No mental toughness (quit at mile 20) Each stage has its own bottleneck to solve. Step 5: Repeat the cycle Did you reach your goal? • No → go back and fix the next bottleneck • Yes → set a new goal (return to Step 1) Progress comes from fixing one constraint at a time. This is how you build or achieve anything—without stress or overwhelm. And once you learn this skill? 📌 Making money as a ghostwriter becomes simple. There has never been a better time in history to make a living writing online. So, what's the fastest way to monetize your writing on the internet? Easy. Ghostwriting. I made my first $10,000 online as a ghostwriter, while working my job on Wall Street. Want to start landing high-paying writing clients? The McDonald's CEO has been posting talking-head & review content for the last 4 years. Most have averaged around 20-40k views, nothing crazy. A lot of executives would have seen that as a waste of time and given up. But then BOOM: • One video gets 14 million views • Almost 500x his average view count • Completely dominates the social media landscape for a couple of weeks Probably drove tens of thousands of people to eat McDonald's for the first time in ages. Big lesson in consistency there. Now, he almost certainly has a team to help him stay consistent. Which is why industry leaders like him (executives, investors, founders, etc.) need ghostwriters to help them produce content and scale their message online. And they're willing to pay a premium for this help. I know because ghostwriting is how I made my first $10,000 online (and it ultimately helped me quit my Wall Street job to become an entrepreneur). So, I created a free, 5-day blueprint anyone can use to get started as a ghostwriter and land high-paying clients. Click "Visit my website" at the top of this post to get free, instant access.

The single most powerful habit for personal growth: Journaling. I've used it to: • Quit my Wall Street job • Make decisions with elite clarity • Create a $20,000,000 digital writing business These are my 5 favorite prompts: 1. The Morning Kickstart Every morning, I ask 5 questions: • What's 1 thing I'm grateful for?  • What's 1 thing I'm excited about?  • What's 1 virtue I want to exhibit?  • What's 1 thing I'm avoiding?  • What's the 1 thing I need to do? I set a 5-minute timer & each question gets 1 sentence, max. This prompt covers: • Gratitude • Excitement for the day ahead • Reminders about the type of person I'm trying to become It ends with a reminder of the most important thing I need to do today. 2. The Evening Shutdown I set a 5-minute timer and answer: • What were my biggest wins of the day? • Did I have any major realizations? • What's on the agenda for tomorrow? By recapping my biggest wins & realizations, I keep a ledger of: • The good things happening in my life • What I'm learning about myself & the world And by brain dumping bullets on the next day, I let my subconscious work overnight. 3. The Bottleneck Analysis This one has been huge for my personal growth. It has 2 questions: • What's the biggest bottleneck to achieving my next goal? • Why aren't I working on it today? The truth is, you know exactly what you should be doing. So—stop looking for new things and do the things you know you should be doing. 4. The 80/20 Life Audit Start with 2 lists: • Where am I feeling satisfied? • Where am I feeling dissatisfied? Brain dump everything—health, finances, relationships, career, spirituality. Then, take each list and find the 20% of: • Places • Habits • People • Beliefs That are leading to 80% of the positive & negative results. During this reflection, patterns will emerge. The same people, habits, and beliefs—all leading to your best and worst results. From there, your goal is to: • Double down on the 20% positive • Eliminate the 20% negative Instant life upgrade. 5. The Compounding Projection Success (or failure) is a result of tiny actions compounded over time. But it can be hard to gauge your progress. So ask these 2 questions: • If I repeated every action I took today, every day for a year, where would I end up? • Is this the place I want to be? If you're confident in your current path, this will help you be more patient. But if you're on the wrong path, it will help you course correct. — 📌 I used these prompts to start writing online. This simple (but powerful) daily habit is how I ultimately made my first $10,000 online as a ghostwriter. If you want to quickly start making money online, I recommend ghostwriting. January was a tough month for my digital business. But it taught me 6 harsh lessons: 1. Do not turn off transactional businesses 2. You only have a problem if you're doing the basics—and they are not working 3. How an A-Player responds versus a B- and C-Player 4. The difference between Field Generals and Game Managers 5. Every 4 months, your sales team needs a reset 6. You aren't where you want to be because you are not doing what's required I share all the good (and the bad) over on my YouTube channel. Including what we're starting to do to rebound—and make 2026 the most profitable year for my digital business. Just search for "6 Harsh Business Lessons I Learned Last Month" on YouTube tto watch the video in full. — 📌 Want to start & scale your own digital business to $100,000 this year? At 24, I made my first $10,000 writing on the internet. The crazy part? I landed my first writing client by mistake. But I'd actually just stumbled across an insanely lucrative business anyone can start: Ghostwriting. Everyone should have writing clients who pay $5,000+ for a project. (This is ultimately how I quit my job on Wall Street so I could travel and work from anywhere in the world.) But most people are stuck figuring out: • What service to sell • Which clients to target • How to charge premium rates So, I put together the Writer Positioning Playbook to help you land high-paying clients in ANY niche. Inside, you'll find: • The 1 simple shift to 10x your rates overnight • A 3-step framework to upgrade your Positioning • An AI prompt to find 5 high-paying clients for YOUR specific background Plus, you'll see real examples from a $3M ghostwriting agency. Want access? Comment "playbook" and I'll send it across (for free). And if we're not connected, send me a connection request with the word "playbook" and I'll DM it to you.

I'm 30. 20 lessons I’d tell my 20-year-old self: 1. No one cares what you do, they care what you can do for them. 2. The people you look up to are nothing special, they’ve just been doing it longer. 3. Most of the things you are caught up in will not matter at all in 5 years. 4. Fear of failure and rejection are symptoms of an ego problem, let it go. 5. No one on earth is thinking about you anywhere near as much as you think they are. 6. You can solve almost every modern-day problem with writing, exercise, clean eating, sunshine, and meditation. 7. 95% of reading, planning, and brainstorming is procrastination disguised as productivity. 8. Success comes from doing somewhat-monotonous things every day for years (but no one wants to hear that). 9. You dramatically overestimate how many things you can do at once and dramatically underestimate how much effort it takes to do one thing well. 10. Your friends will say “you’ve changed” because they don’t know how to say “you’ve grown.” 11. Money stops flowing the second you see it as scarce, and starts again the second you see it as abundant. 12. Work 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. It will never be easier to do so. 13. Call your parents every day. You’ve already spent 90% of the time you’ll ever spend with them. And they’re the only people on earth who have been a part of your entire story. 14. Smile more. Future you would trade everything he has to get to replay the level you’re currently playing, so enjoy it. 15. You can only commit to 3 things at a time. One for your health, one for your business, one for your lifestyle. Choose wisely. 16. Pay to learn from people ahead of you. It’s the fastest way to compress time. 17. Learn to write. Learn to sell. Everything else becomes easier after that. 18. Stop comparing yourself to people ahead of you. Compete with a) your former self and b) your future self. 19. You should feel laughably unqualified when starting anything. Start anyway. 20. Get in shape, build a business, and treat the women in your life with respect. It’s your moral obligation. — 📌 I learned these lessons while building my 6-figure writing side hustle. (Which ultimately let me escape my gruelling corporate job on Wall Street.) But if I was starting over in 2026? I would become a LinkedIn Ghostwriter. Want to start landing high-paying writing clients from LinkedIn? The smartest people I know are nothing special. Here's the only difference: How long they've been playing the game. I realized this after 500+ hours studying the smartest people I look up to. 7 more realizations I had (that most people take decades to figure out): 1. They are prolific writers 2. They think in decades, not days 3. They fall in love with the basics 4. They go from idea to execution quickly 5. They are 100% content to appear clueless 6. They have a potent mix of ego and insecurity 7. In only 3 weeks, a writer I know landed a $5,000 client. But it almost didn't happen. He went into every sales call a nervous wreck. Why? Because he was afraid to say his price out loud: "There's no way a stranger would actually pay me $5,000." (This also terrified me when I first started ghostwriting!) And you know what? He's absolutely right. At the time, he was working on his other startup business. And it didn't allow him to make a great living working remotely without working 40+ hours per week. So, he joined our Premium Ghostwriting Academy to unlock a better monetization vehicle. All he did was: • Follow a custom roadmap we gave him • Use our proven warm outreach scripts • Send friendly DMs to everyone in his network Which is how he landed a $5,000 ghostwriting client in just 3 weeks. Want a sneak peek at some of the DM strategies he used? Then grab my LinkedIn Sales DM Prompt Vault. Inside, you get: • The Connection Request Prompt (to get your foot in the door & your connection requests accepted). • The Rapport Building Prompt (to prove your expertise and build trust with your lead). • The Free Consulting Prompt (to position yourself as a business consultant, not just another freelance writer). Plus, inside these prompts are the 17 DM templates you can use to get clients onto sales calls (even without AI). Want them? Comment "dm" below. Success isn't about achieving everything at once. It's about: • Retraining • Reinforcing • Rewiring Your mind with a certain set of habits. These 5 small (but impactful) habits helped me: • Lose 100 pounds • Escape the corporate rat race • Live & work anywhere in the world They're simple, but not easy: 1. Walk 15,000 steps per day. Every good idea I've ever come up with came on a long walk without my phone. And the daily step count sets an easy foundation for weight loss. 2. Take an obsessive amount of notes. I have at least 10,000+ notes on my phone, capturing every: • Idea • Insight • And lesson I come up with or from the content I consume. This means I'm always writing from an abundance of ideas. 3. Wake up at 5 AM and go to bed by 9 PM. It's cliché, but waking up at 5 AM to work for 3 hours is the easiest way to move your life forward. Nothing beats high-leverage, distraction-free work while the rest of the world sleeps. 4. Write for 90 minutes at least 6x per week. Whether it's journaling or writing LinkedIn posts, I crave this blocked chunk of time and space to think early in the morning. 5. Cook 99% of my own meals with single-ingredient, organic foods. And lastly, from a weight-loss perspective, this was the biggest contributor. I've come to cherish the craft of cooking a high-quality meal. And once you completely eliminate all the junk that comes in both processed and restaurant food, it's hard to go back. — 📌 The life I have now didn't happen overnight. But making my first $10,000 as a ghostwriter was the first time I saw an escape from my corporate job. Why ghostwriting? You get paid to write anywhere in the world. And demand here on LinkedIn is huge. Want to know how to land high-paying writing clients this year? Growing up, I thought I had a flaw. Until I realized it was a superpower: I've always done 1 thing at a time and *obsessed* over it. As a kid, these were my 4 obsessions: • 1st-4th grade: Runescape • 5th-6th grade: Speedcubing • 7th-8th grade: Call of Duty 4 • 8th grade-college: Football I realized this personality trait is a feature, not a bug. And it's helped me build an 8-figure digital writing business before the age of 30. Now, I'm surrounded by an all-star team that brings the same level of intensity. This is how we're going to scale our digital business to $1,000,000/month. But my first $10,000 writing on the Internet was as a ghostwriter. Ghostwriting is the perfect side hustle. 4 years ago this month, I was making $180k on Wall Street. Then I quit. I started writing online. And then a total stranger sent me $5,000. It broke my brain about how to make money online. Here's the full story: After college, I was checking every box: • NYC finance life • Wall Street trader • On track to make $180,000/year But then a little conversation changed everything: A 38-year-old colleague asked for permission to go to his son's Little League game. His boss said no. I thought: "If I do everything right for 14 more years, I'll be sitting here having to ask permission to go to my kids' game?" Uh oh. But I didn't quit right away (a big mistake most people make). Instead, I looked for ways to pursue new opportunities while working a full-time 9-5. I started a newsletter in January 2020. My schedule: • Wake up at 4:30 AM • Write for 2 hours • BlackRock during the day • Build in the evenings But after 9 months, growth was slow. So, I committed to a 30-day writing challenge: Write and publish a curation thread every single day for 30 days. If it didn't work, I'd find something else. On Day 27, I hit publish: • Zero likes • Zero retweets • Zero comments I went to bed thinking, "Cool, this is almost over." But when I woke up, the post had: • Gained 5k likes • Been retweeted by Naval • I went from 250 subscribers to 1,000+ And then I got a surprising DM: Someone wanted me to write threads about their work and curate their content. When they asked how much I charged, I froze. I had never made a single dollar online. Afraid to quote a price and get rejected, I said: "I have no clue what to charge. This would be my first time. How about I do it and you pay whatever value it provides?" They accepted, and on the weekend, I went ALL IN. Spent Saturday and Sunday immersing myself in their content: • Every article • Every keynote • Every interview I delivered a set of threads, an outline for a book, and a curation of their content. Their response? "This is sooooooo good! Super helpful." They asked, "Where can I send the payment?" I sent my PayPal and a few hours later... $5,000 hit my account. So I messaged him: "Did you mean to send this much?" Their response: "Dude this was amazing, is that enough for you?" This completely broke my brain about the potential of ghostwriting. I was getting PAID to write and study someone I looked up to (who I was going to write a thread on anyway). And they referred me to people in their network who also needed a ghostwriter and I started landing more $5,000 writing gigs. But if I had to start over, I would ghostwrite on LinkedIn. This platform has over 1 billion users who: • Never post • Know they should be • Need help building their personal brand Want a blueprint to help you start ghostwriting & land high-paying clients? Here’s the template we use to write internal memos in my $8,000,000/year business: • Summary • What we’re doing • Why we’re doing it • How we will measure it • When will we do it by • What is required • Who is involved • What is next This aligns the entire team on a single source of truth & saves us hours of back and forth communication. Borrow if useful. By the way, I'm documenting everything as I scale my business to $10,000,000/year. And it all started 5 years ago when I began writing on the internet. Writing online has completely changed my life. It helped me: • Quit my corporate job • Make my first $10,000 online as a ghostwriter • Build my $20,000,000 digital writing business And if you want to quickly start making money online, I recommend ghostwriting. You don't need more information to hit your goals. Instead, try this: Embrace feeling uncomfortable. 6 years ago, I let fear stop me from building my daily writing habit. Then I realized these 11 inconvenient truths: 1. You can't deposit the number of books you've read or followers you have in a bank account. 2. You can complain about the game or you can learn the rules. 3. No one cares what you do, they care what you can do for them. 4. The market rewards not the best product, but the product who best positions themselves as the obvious solution. 5. If you did everything you said you'd do, your results would be 10x better than they are. 6. 99% of people would rather be uncomfortable and unhappy than uncertain. 7. Being "busy" is a sign you lack leverage and are delegating poorly. 8. The people you look up to are not that special and are no more talented than you are. 9. If you spent half as many hours taking action as you did thinking about taking action, you would be in a better spot. 11. Successful people are neither smarter nor more creative than you. They are simply executing better. 12. (BONUS): No one on Earth thinks about you as much as you think they do. — 📌 Once I internalized these truths, making money by writing online became simple. I made my first $10,000 on the internet as a ghostwriter. (While also working 50+ hours per week at my corporate day job.) My current daily routine: 1. 20 minute walk to cafe without phone 2. Sit down and journal for 30 minutes to clarify thoughts 3. Write for 90 minutes on iPad (with no WiFi) 4. Take 15 minute walking break through my Miami neighborhood 5. Order second coffee, pay for person behind me, and write for another 90 minutes 5. Eat 8 oz of steak + a plate of vegetables, return to home desk, sweep Slack with team 6. Log in to computer to drive forward critical projects, allocate resources, lead & manage, take meetings 7. By now it’s about 4 PM and the day has been won, but it's time to walk to gym + lift weights (German Body Composition Training) 8. Take a walk during the sunset with my dog and girlfriend, and cook us each another steak (ribeye, 16 oz, medium rare) on the terrace Everything I ever wanted in this world happening every single day. But this was my daily routine 6 years ago: 1. Screeching 5AM alarm 2. Immediately caffeinate 3. Have a pathetic morning workout 4. Work under fluorescent lights for 12 hours 5. Take freezing cold NYC subway home 6. Grab a 6 pack and sit on the couch 7. Smile & say I'm living the dream You can either choose to change or choose to remain the same. If you want to change, today is the perfect day to begin. 📌 I have the freedom to live the life I always dreamed of every day because I built an 8-figure digital business. But I made my first $10,000 on the internet as a ghostwriter. Ghostwriting is the quickest way to monetize your writing on LinkedIn. Want help landing your first (or next) ghostwriting client? I just created a Claude Skills library to help writers land more high-paying clients. And I'm giving it away for free: Now, most ghostwriters are great at writing... But terrible at selling! • They don't know what to say in DMs • They wing it on sales calls • They never follow up And they leave money on the table with existing clients. So I built 7 AI Skills you can install inside Claude to handle every stage of the sales process for you. It includes: • A DM Writer that generates outreach messages for every stage of the prospect conversation • A Free Consulting Script for high-quality outreach (which gets prospects scrambling to book a call) • A 9-step Sales Call Script tailored to your offer • A Sales Call Analyzer that pinpoints missed opportunities and helps you pinpoint objections • A Follow-Up Message Generator so you never let a lead go cold • An Upsell Engine that finds new revenue inside existing clients • And a Referral DM Generator so asking for referrals never feels awkward Want access? Comment "sales" I'll send you the link ASAP. And if we're not connected, send me a connection request (so I can DM you). PS - This isn't a PDF that collects dust. These are 7 tools you install once and use every time you need to close a client.

Writing online is how I built a LinkedIn audience to 154,000 and a $20,000,000 digital business. But my writing tech stack is simple. I never start writing without these 5 tools: 1. Pen and paper Every morning, I sit down and journal for 30 minutes to clarify my thoughts & plan the day ahead. Always use a Muji 0.5 clicker & an A4 notebook. Has never failed me. Pick up some for yourself. (Thank me later.) 2. Apple Notes Next, I write for 90 minutes on my iPad with no WiFi. I intentionally choose tools with limited functionality. Otherwise, I try to take on too many things (and make zero progress as a result). 3. Claude My go-to AI writing assistant: • Editing • Analysis • Research • Outlining • Brainstorming It's my best thought partner that I constantly spar with. 4. Typeshare Hundreds of templates to help me turn my raw ideas into ready-to-publish posts. 5. Notion This is where I organize my ideas. But I don't get bogged down here—I keep it simple. Optimizing your Notion dashboard is procrastination disguised as productivity. — 📌 I built a digital business by writing online every day for the last 5 years. And I made my first $10,000 writing online as a ghostwriter. Ghostwriting is how I imagined a life outside my corporate job on Wall Street (and it ultimately helped me quit my 9 to 5). And right now, ghostwriting is the quickest way to make money here on LinkedIn. So I put together a free, 5-day email course explaining how to: • Reposition yourself as a ghostwriter • Create an Irresistible Writing Offer • Land high-paying clients Get instant access here: https://lnkd.in/ginFE73k
